Environmental issues are increasingly important for all industries, including the postal and delivery sector. Postal operators take a number of different measures to reduce the environmental impact of their operations, individually and through industry initiatives.
Cullen International’s new benchmark gives information on the different environmental targets and initiatives set by postal operators in 14 European countries, finding in particular that 11 of the researched postal operators track their progress using the internationally recognised Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards.
