The antitrust fines levied by the European Commission in 2017 and 2018 on Qualcomm and Google totalled €7.8bn, of which Google’s share was €6.8bn.
Leaving aside the interesting legal considerations involved in these cases (all appealed), they made the headlines because of the staggering size of the fines.
