Cullen International's new benchmark describes who won the UEFA Champions League media rights (seasons 2018- 2021) recently auctioned in the selected countries, and how much was paid compared to seasons 2015 - 2018.
Our research mainly shows that free to air broadcasters that are currently holding rights for this competition, are no longer able to compete with large pay TV broadcasters and telecoms operators to renew the rights because the tariffs have soared dramatically.
