Our latest research provides a summary of key developments since June 2025 on national 5G security initiatives in the 27 EU member states, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK. 

Relevant developments have been observed in France, the Czech Republic and Poland.

In France, the deadline for removing Huawei equipment has been postponed to 2032 "for less sensitive sites".

In the Czech Republic, under the NIS2 transposition law, mobile networks are classified as strategically important services that must be provided from within the country.

In Poland, the last version of the draft amendments to the cybersecurity act of 16 September 2025 would maintain the procedures to designate high-risk vendors.
