US Big Tech firms have been the recipients of some of the largest fines ever imposed by competition authorities in Europe.
In total, the European Commission so far fined Google over €8bn and Microsoft over €2bn.
The French and Italian national competition authorities have also levied substantial penalties on Amazon, Apple and Google in recent years.
