EU member states need to transpose the new Audiovisual Media Service (AVMS) Directive by 19 September 2020.
A public debate on the implementation of the directive has started in eight out of the eleven countries covered by Cullen International’s research.
Cullen International’s progress report provides information on the steps taken so far and the expected calendar of adoption. It also provides (where relevant) an overview of the areas (including beyond AVMS) that ministries are addressing and highlights the most interesting issues under debate.
