Cullen International's latest report on the telecommunications sector in the Middle-East and North Africa, the "MENA Country Profiles", sheds light on the main telecom statistics, market information, institutional and regulatory frameworks, as well as sector policies in each of the countries covered.
The first edition of this new report shows for instance that more than 80% of broadband connections in Qatar and the UAE are based on fibre-to-the-home while Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Oman have ambitious broadband targets. Jordan, has not adopted broadband targets.
The new MENA country profiles are available to all clients of our MENA Telecoms service. They will be updated twice per year and initially cover six countries: Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
