Cullen International’s updated benchmark shows that all MENA countries define key performance indicators to measure actual quality of service (QoS). Nearly all MENA countries set performance targets to be achieved by telecoms operators, except in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, where regulators only set reference values.
The MENA telecoms benchmark on quality-of-service (QoS) provides details on the general framework of QoS for voice and data services provided over mobile and fixed networks, including measuring performance, reporting, target setting, and the penalties imposed for failing to comply with QoS requirements.
The benchmark also provides detailed data on the QoS targets set in MENA countries.
