The European Commission presented on 30 November 2022 a proposal for a regulation to replace the Packaging and Packaging Waste directive. The proposal aims to contribute to reaching the objectives of the EU Green Deal and the Circular Economy action plan.
Currently, the European Parliament and Council are trying to agree on the final version of the proposal.
