With great sadness we announce the loss of our founder Bernard Cullen, who passed away on Tuesday 7 July aged 89.
Bernard was a gentleman, a man of integrity and determination with a good sense of humour and a sharp mind. He held onto a strong set of values and standards that still guide us today. He was a visionary, hardworking and caring professional to whom we express our sincere gratitude and admiration.
At age 56 (1986), Bernard founded Cullen International based on his reputation for expertise and honesty and his talent for explaining complex issues simply and clearly. Although Bernard handed the management reins to trusted colleagues many years ago, he never stepped away completely and enjoyed seeing the little company he created blossom. His family have said how very proud he was of Cullen International and the team that have grown it and that he never forgot his final visit to the office in August 2017.
If you are interested in finding out more about Bernard’s lifework and the beginning of our company, we invite you to visit our history page.
For everyone who would like to express their sympathy or share memories with our founder’s family, as well as the greater Cullen International family, we have opened a virtual condolence book.
