Cullen International has invited Johannes Theiss from the European Commission (DG Connect) and Bobbie Mellor, Head of Sustainable Business at Vodafone, to explore:

  • The key environmental issues affecting the digital sector, and how these may differ from those facing other industries;
  • European initiatives that directly impact on the communications sector, including discussions for a code of conduct on the sustainability of telecommunications networks; and
  • What industry players have already been doing (and plan to do) to make their policies and practices more environmentally sound
