European Digital Single Market strategy: what was achieved and what comes next? 14 March 19 | Brussels, Belgium

This event has passed

The European Digital Single Market (DSM) strategy, launched by the European Commission in 2015, set ambitious policy actions to position Europe as a world leader in the digital economy. The European Parliament elections in May are approaching and the next European Commission will take office in November. It is a good time to take stock of what was really achieved by the DSM strategy and to explore possible ways forward regarding European digital policies.

Cullen International has invited Mr Thomas Nortvedt, European Commission policy officer in the DSM strategy directorate of DG Connect, to brief us on the state of play of the DSM policy actions and on the Commission’s on-going work, which can serve as a basis for future policy developments.
