Regulation Made Simple

New benchmark on regulation on over the top (OTT) services in Latin America

OTT regulation

Over-the-top television (OTT) refers to the capability to deliver audiovisual services and content to connected devices (such as television sets, game consoles, computers, tablets and smart phones) over unmanaged networks.

Although there is no OTT specific regulation in any of the selected Latin America countries covered, OTT service providers are in two countries subject to obligations that are imposed on traditional audiovisual market players: registration and/or taxation.
